Staci Meyer

Member of the North Carolina Industrial Commission, which oversees workers’ compensation.  She served as chief deputy secretary and general counsel for the N.C. Department of Cultural Resources during the Easley administration and became acting secretary when Secretary Libba Evans went on extended leave.  Prior to joining the Department of Cultural Resources, Meyer was a special deputy attorney general in the N.C. Justice Department for litigation, health care and personnel matters. She was clerk to former Chief Court of Appeals Judge Robert Hedrick.
