About Elizabeth Weigand

Elizabeth Weigand is a food writer, living in Raleigh, whose articles about food, travel and design have appeared in national and regional magazines and newspapers for two decades. She grew up on a tobacco farm in NC, and is married with three good-cooking daughters, two dogs and too many squirrels. Other than food, she loves sailing on the coast of NC and the Caribbean, scuba diving, hiking, and especially travel to France, Central America, and wherever she can go.
